Welcome to beò. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of beo.llc (the "Website") and the beò research application ("App"), operated by beò LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing the Website or participating in our research, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Nature of Service

You may stop participating at any time by uninstalling the App or emailing lab@beo.llc to request removal from the email list.

Because data is collected anonymously, we cannot delete specific data after collection (we cannot identify which data is yours).

Research findings derived from anonymous data may be published in academic journals or shared publicly. Such publications will not identify individual participants.

Important: beò is a digital wellbeing research tool, NOT a medical device or treatment. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.

If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not rely on beò as a substitute for professional medical advice.

The Website and App are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including:

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed £100 (GBP) or $100 (USD).

You may stop using our services at any time by uninstalling the App, unsubscribing from emails, or simply ceasing to access the Website.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, provide false information, we believe your use harms us or others, or as required by law.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your license to use our services ends immediately. Anonymous research data already collected remains with us for research purposes. You should delete the App from your device.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

For users in the UK or EU, you also retain rights under local consumer protection laws.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming, USA. However, you may also bring claims in the courts of your country of residence if permitted by local law.

11.3 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal claim, please contact us at info@beo.llc to attempt informal resolution. We're reasonable people who want to make things right.

12. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and beò LLC regarding our services.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.

Third Party Rights: These Terms do not confer any rights to third parties.
